The Beauty of Your Heart

Does this world make you feel different? Ugly? Fat? Short? Wimpy? Stupid? Slow? Clumsy?
This world is so messed up.

Fortunately, there is a God who can see past your physical flaws to the beauty of your heart, which was designed and molded by his own hands. He made it a masterpiece.

The world may not be able to see it, but your heart reflects the true beauty of the Lord; it is a mirror of His glory.
So when the world pushes you down, don’t be discouraged, but remember that God loves you for who you are.

Believe me, all humans are ugly. Our sin makes us a horrid thing to look at. But Jesus died on the cross to wash away our sins, so that we could be His righteousness, His beauty.

God’s crazy about you. Who else would die on a cross for you when you despised Him? Who else would spend thousands of years preparing a home for you?

Why does God love us? You know what? I don’t know. I can’t think of any type of beauty we have or deed we have done that would cause Him to love us. His love is indescribable, undefinable, uncontainable, majestic, and unearned.
If for no other reason, love God for that. Because He loved you first. Because He looks past your flaws, into the beauty of your heart.
