Embrace God’s Remedy

People complain a lot about the world. They say how much better the world used to be, and how horrible it has become.

The first man to be born of a woman was the world’s first murderer.
The second man born of a woman was the world’s first murder victim.
Sin has been here since man bit the forbidden fruit, and it’s going to be here till every man bites the dust. No matter how hard you try, there’s going to be sin, and the cause of it, death.

What can you do? After the Adam sinned and the world was corrupted, thousands of people had asked that same question. So, what happened? God made a remedy. He had a solution. He sent Jesus to die, so that we wouldn’t. Sin still led to death, which Jesus paid, but now grace leads to life.

So, what can you do? You can except the grace God has given, and then tell others the good news.

So, here’s the story:

God makes man, he sins, God kicks him out of Eden, man continues to sin, God forms a remedy, we embrace the remedy, God gives us His love, we give it to others, they embrace God’s remedy, they feel God’s love, they give it to others, the others embrace God’s remedy, the others share God’s love with others, etc. etc. etc.

That’s the kind of story I want to happen. That’s the kind of story that should happen. But how can we see to it that it happens? Here’s three steps:

Step one: embrace God’s remedy.

The remedy is already here, we just need to embrace it, to confess that we are sinners and to except that we need grace.

Step two: feel and share God’s love.

When we except grace, we can feel God’s love. So go, spread the word around, love others as God has loved you.

Step three: repeat step two as many times as there are stars in the sky.
